Yet more pond problems

This part down here was also flooded, luckily not the plants!

During the heavy rain that has swept the north-east of England, my pond overflowed onto the grassy area in front of it. At this point in time you may be thinking 'you're joking right, there is a drought not far south from the northeast'  and yes I do know that thank-you, but the real problem is that nearly all of the tadpoles in the pond have swam onto the grass, when the water washes away, they will be trapped on land and they will die as they haven't fully developed into frogs. We are trying everything we can and hopefully most of them will survive. I'll keep you posted!
